The Indoor World Cup Final concluded In Las Vegas with three Hoyt Archers with gold medals on top of the podium. Leading up to the final, archers in the male and female-compound and recurve categories competed in the Indoor World Cup circuit that visited Marrakesh Morocco, Singapore and Telford UK. At each stage archers earned valuable ranking points for the 16 person final that would be held in Las Vegas.
In the men’s compound category 10 of the 16 finalists were all shooting Hoyt, out of them all Sebastien Peineau (FRA) was the man on a mission. Winning each match decisively making it to the gold medal match. Peineau shot his very best match in the gold medal final, winning with 6 to 2 set points and a score of 119 to his opponents 116. Peineau shoots the Pro Comp Elite with Spiral-X cams.
The Women’s Compound category was dominated once again by the winner of Singapore and Telford, Erika Jones. In Jones’ final gold medal match, she won three straight sets scoring 6-0 with perfect scores of 30-30-30. Jones shoots the Pro Comp Elite with GTX cams. Hoyt shooter Rosalia Dominguez (MEX) finished with Bronze, earning two podium positions for Team Hoyt.
The Men’s Recurve divison was a Clean Hoyt Sweep with Rick van der Ven (NED) edging out Matteo Fissore (ITA) for the gold. Van der Ven was shooting the all new Recurve Stealth Shots for his victory. Brady Ellison won his final match in dominating fashion with a score of 7 to 1. All three archers shoot the Hoyt formula system.
