Team Hoyt dominates first stage of Archery World Cup

With more World Championships under his belt than any other active shooter today, Hoyt’s Reo WILDE has gotten his 2013 competition season off to a superb start by racking up another victory.  This time Reo repeated as the champion of the 1st leg of the World Archery Indoor World Cup first stage in Singapore, with his brother Logan taking silver after an amazing display of accuracy that was decided by a single point in raw score.

Reo’s 6-4 set play victory came after his domination of the qualification round with the all-new Hoyt ProComp Elite, Hoyt’s latest precision target compound.  “The ProComp was just a dream to set up and tune.  It holds like you can’t believe, and it’s really everything I ever wanted in a target bow” said Reo, after his victory over brother Logan, who also wielded the ProComp Elite.

For Women’s compound, South Africa’s Danell WENTZEL defeated her countrywoman Gerda ROUX, and the bronze was taken by long-time Hoyt staff shooter Joanna CHESSE of France.  Thus, another total Hoyt sweep of the women’s podium.

In Men’s recurve, Team Hoyt’s J.C. VALLADONT (FRA) took a decisive victory in the gold medal finals, and Silie TAN (SIN) took second shooting Hoyt, while in Women’s recurve, two-time World Indoor Record holder Berengere SCHUH (FRA) took the second podium step for Team Hoyt, and Victoriya Beloslyuntseva (KAZ) took the bronze.
