10 of 12 medals won with Hoyt bows at 2012 F2F- Perfect Score from Wilde

The Face 2 Face tournament, which alternates between the UK and Netherlands every year, has become the traditional kickoff to the new season of competition, and once again it has drawn the world’s best shooters to Amsterdam, and when the dust settled it was Team Hoyt with all the gold medals and 10 of 12 podium slots.

This high-pressure event features a unique head to head, best of seven format that is a supreme test of accuracy under pressure.  Once again, Team Hoyt shooters proved their mettle taking every single first place position on the podium.  Team Hoyt’s Reo WILDE (USA) wielded the all-new, 2013 Hoyt ProComp Elite to take a decisive victory with a perfect score of 150/150, destroying the center of the 10 ring and winning with a devastating show of precision.

British shooter Naomi JONES took the women’s compound gold medal, defeating fellow Team Hoyt shooter and silver medalist Ivana BUDEN (CRO) in a suspenseful final that went down to the last shot.  Hoyt’s Kristina BERGER (GER) rounded out the women’s compound medal sweep with bronze.

Hoyt’s Formula for Success continued to deliver with a total sweep of the podium in men’s recurve. Formula recurve shooters took every men’s medal.  Junior World Record holder Carlo SCHMITZ (GER) defeated his teammate and past World Games and World Field Champion Sebastian ROHERBERG (GER) for the gold, while Dutch team standout Sjev van der BERG (NED) delivered a solid performance for the bronze.  All three shooters used the proven, Olympic Gold winning combination of the Formula HPX riser and F7 limbs.

HPX and F7 also dominated the women’s finals, being used for women’s recurve gold and silver, with another total Hoyt sweep of the women’s recurve podium. To the excitement of the Dutch crowd, Annemarie der KINDEREN (NED) won the gold over World Field Champion Elena Richter (GER).  Both women shot the HPX with F7 limbs. Anne Marie Laursen (DEN) took her GMX to third place defeating her fellow country women Louise Laursen, also shooting Hoyt.

Once again Team Hoyt delivers victories at the most competitive events in the world.  Hoyt wishes to congratulate every competitor in the Face to Face competition and wishes a great 2013 competition season to everyone.
