Team Hoyt shooters took 10 of 12 total medals, and all of the Gold Medals, this weekend in the final USAT event of the 2010 season. The total Hoyt gold sweep saw Reo Wilde winning men’s compound, Kailey Johnston taking women’s compound, Khatuna Lorig winning women’s recurve, and Brady Ellison taking the men’s recurve title. Reo’s win was the first for the all-new 2011 Vantage Elite Plus, in the first outing with Hoyt’s latest target compound masterpiece. Reo was also equipped with the all-new FUSE Carbon Blade stabilizer system, the first stabilizer system proven to reduce wind drag by 70%, making for steadier aiming and a smoother, faster shot sequence with total vibration control.
Men’s recurve was yet another total sweep for Formula shooters, with all four finalists shooting Formula RX recurve bows.
Also taking home hardware and prize money from the event were Women’s recurve bronze medal winner Kristin Braun, Men’s recurve silver medalist Jake Kaminski, Men’s recurve bronze medalist Jacob Wukie, Men’s silver compound medalist Ben Cleland, Women’s compound silver medalist Christie Colin, and Women’s compound bronze medal winner Erika Anschutz.
