NYMBURK, CZECH REPUBLIC – Hoyt shooter Eliane Salden recently found herself in the top spot on the Para World Outdoor Championships podium. Shooting in the Recurve Standing Women's Division, she won the semi-finals by 21 points and the finals by six points.

Only shooting for four years now, she has been steadily improving her game, placing 6th at the 2007 World Championships and 5th at the Paralympic Games, to winning an IPC Grand Prix in 2008 - and now the World Championships, with a personal best score in qualification.

These championships were the first to be organized under the jurisdiction of FITA. The professional organization, the great sunny weather, a lot of training hours and the perfect shooting equipment put her name in the archery history books.

Hoyt would like to congratulate Eliane on her outstanding achievement!
