Team Hoyt shooter Li Wenquan of the People's Republic of China Olympic Team made it to the gold medal final with his Nexus/900CX at the 4th stage of the FITA Archery World Cup in Boe, France this week. Li took the silver medal in a pressure-packed first-ever nighttime final under the lights in Boe in front of thousands of spectators.
Hoyt shooter Zhao Ling, also of the Chinese Olympic team, had a great performace in the women's bronze medal match against teammate Zhang Juan Juan, while Hoyt shooter and Chinese Olympic archer Xue Haifeng had a stellar performance in the Men's Bronze final.
Team Hoyt shooters Natalia Valeeva and Pia Carmen Lionetti of Italy took the team silver in the final with their Nexus/900CX Hoyts, while Team Hoyt shooters Charlotte Burgess, Alison Williamson, and Naomi Folkard used their Hoyt recurves to take the bronze.
Finally, Hoyt's Natalia Valeeva easily qualified for the World Cup Grand Finals which will be staged at the home of the IOC, Lausanne, Switzerland, later this season.
