The results are in- and for a second year in a row, Hoyt compound shooters performed a total sweep of all four men’s and four women’s slots for the FITA Meteksan Archery World Cup Grand Finals. The Grand Finals this year are in Dubai in the Persian Gulf, with the world’s finest archers selected through four grueling world cup qualifier events.
The Team Hoyt compound shooters advancing to the Grand Finals include 2006 Grand Finalists Jamie Van Natta (USA), Jorge Jiminez (ESA), Anna Kazantseva (RUS), and Sofia Goncharova (RUS). This year the veterans are joined in the Grand Final by their Hoyt teammates Petra Ericsson (SWE) as well as America’s 2007 World Indoor Champion Braden Gellenthein, French star Sebastien Brasseur, and Brazilian archery sensation Roberval Dos Santos.
Also competing, in the recurve division, is Hoyt star Al Wills of Great Britain.
