BLOOMFIELD, NEW JERSEY Team Hoyt’s Jamie Van Natta redefined accuracy at the recent New Jersey Gold Cup and proved to the world that Hoyt’s male shooters aren’t the only ones who can bring the heat.

Van Natta’s perfect score of 120 in the coveted FITA 12-arrow match was a first in women’s target archery history and ties the men’s world record set by fellow Hoyt pro Dave Cousins. Pending official FITA ratification, her 120 will be a new women’s world record.

During Van Natta’s Gold Cup qualifying FITA round, she posted a personal best of 1406 just five points shy of the world record 1411 recently set by her Hoyt teammate Gladys Willems.

Van Natta also holds world records in the women’s 70-meter (36 arrows) and 70-meter round
(72 arrows).

Hoyt would like to congratulate Van Natta on her record-shattering shooting, and for proving the tournament-tested accuracy and dependability of Hoyt bows.
